Investigation on the effect of high amount of Re-recycled RAP with Warm mix asphalt (WMA) technology

In this paper, the effect of combined use re-recycled Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) on performance properties Warm Mix (WMA) was experimentally investigated at both binder and mixture scales. First, a virgin 50/70 Pen Grade fresh Gabbro aggregates were used to prepare conventional Hot (HMA) for surface layers as reference mixture. Then, same mix type produce designed with 40% RAP, 160/220 binder, Sasobit first generation (WMA-1) Next, WMA-1 artificially aged simulate design adopted second WMA RAP identified WMA-2. Finally, fatigue low temperature evaluated three recycling level (reference, recycling). addition, rheological tests conducted entire set six asphalt binders design, including 50/70, binders, extracted from WMA-1, artificial Results mixtures indicate that WMA-2 shows better temperaure compared other two associated limited reduction in response. Concerning similar observed within wide range temperatures. The present study supports idea using up together technology design.
